Kevin Feige Confirms Daredevil and Spider-Man are MCU’s Street-Level Heroes
Marvel’s massive panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con made the announcement that Matt Murdock would feature heavily in the franchise for the coming years, and Kevin Feige has just confirmed that Daredevil and Spider-Man are the MCU’s street-level heroes.
It had been two years since the famed tradition of Marvel massive panels on the lauded stage at Hall H had taken place, and with the vent returning, Marvel Studios went as big as possible and had one of the biggest panels they’ve ever had the event they helped to make must-see for pop culture fans.
Not only did the studio announce that the Marvel Cinematic Universe would face a restructured Phase Four- with the highly-anticipated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever now ending the phase- but it delved deep into the next few years of Marvel projects and both of the two upcoming phases.
The announcement had plenty of cosmic and multiversal adventures in store for the massive interconnected film universe, that should take the Marvel franchise into a brand new direction as it explores the far reaches of the multiverse and its greatest threats.
There was also an emphasis on the ground level of superheroism in the Marvel universe, as She/ Hulk had long been seen as one of Marvel’s most important heroes on a smaller scale, it was revealed that Daredevil would be making an appearance on her upcoming Disey+ series.
As ti turns out, Kevin Fiege has confirmed that Daredevil and Spider-Man will lead the MCU’s Street-level heroes, and embrace the status similar to the one they implore in the source material that often sees them defending the streets of New York.

Feige revealed the update to MTV News when he told Josh Horowitz, “We’ve got the street-level with the announcement of Daredevil and of course, Spidey going into the Street-level heroes.”
It is interesting to consider an MCU future where Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is no longer a massive part of various, intergalactic, Avengers adventures, and instead seeks to protect the Marvel universe alongside heroes like Daredevil and She/ Hulk.
