Did that ‘She/Hulk’ Clip Reveal the Return of The Grandmaster?
With the series just a couple of weeks away from debuting on Disney+, and its promotional campaign in full swing, a tease may have revealed some of what fans can expect, as a recently released She/ Hulk clip may have revealed the return of the Grandmaster.
There is no denying the excitement from fans when it was announced that the iconic Marvel hero, Jennifer Walters, would be the subject of her very own Disney+ series that explored her very unique perspective on the Marvel Universe.
Walters, better known by the name She-Hulk, has long been a fan-favorite Marvel character, who is both a New York City lawyer dedicated to protecting the interests of the superhero community and a hero herself that fights alongside some of Marvel’s greatest.
The series is just a few weeks away, and with every passing day it feels like we get a new trailer, poster, featurette, or scene shown; and with every piece of content, it feels like the story is revealed bit by bit, showing more of what there is to expect out of the brand new Marvel arrival.
It seems like the most recent promotional piece may have given us some insight into not only how Jennifer Walters gets her powers, but a character that could be tracking down Bruce Banner in this latest series, as a recent She/ Hulk clip may have revealed the return of The Grandmaster.
In the clip in question, there is a spaceship shown that disorients Walters, and forces her to drive off of a small cliff with her cousin Bruce in the passenger seat; and we know that this is the moment that her blood mixes with Banners to give her the same powers as the Hulk.
What is important to note, however, is that this isn’t the first tie that we’ve seen that ship, as it has been in the MCU before; that ship is actually The Commodore, which was last seen in Thor: Ragnarok as the personal ship of The Grandmaster himself.
There is no telling why The Grandmaster has tracked down Banner, but it must have something to do with the Hulk being the greatest champion that he had seen, and some unfinished business between the two.
