‘Marvel’s Avengers’ Announces Brand New Thordis Skin
She has risen in popularity in recent years to become a legacy hero catapulted to becoming a fan-favorite character in her own right, and one of the biggest games of the brand’s current lineup has added to her influence, as Marvel’s Avengers announces a brand new Thordis Skin.
Part of the overwhelming influence of Marvel Studios in popular culture has been their expansion into varying avenues of the entertainment industry, crafting an identity as a brand that is willing to bring its iconic characters to so many different mediums.

Although it has always been something they have contributed in, Marvel’s most recent foray into the gaming world has resulted in some of the biggest success stories that the industry has to offer, with titles like Sony’s Spider-Man becoming some of the most beloved titles on consoles and PC.
And Marvel’s Avengers, perhaps the other biggest gaming title that Marvel can boast has just added a brand new customizable option for fans of The Mighty Thor, as the game has announced the brand new Thordis Skin.

Inspired by the comic book, What If…? #10, which arrived in1978, the skin takes its inspiration from the now classic cover, which shows the first depiction of Jane Foster as now the iconic inheritor of Mjolnir; being dubbed in recent years as The Mighty Thor.
Foster was a welcomed inclusion to the game’s consumer base, as she presented yet another fan-favorite character to the ever-expanding roster of playable heroes that users can take on various adventures alongside some of their favorite Avengers.

The character has come a long way since that late 70’s depiction and has developed into one a hero that boasts one of the richest narratives in Marvel comics, especially when penned by Jason Aaron in the iconic run that saw her first be introduced in the mainstream Marvel universe outside of the one-shot.
The new skin will give fans of using Foster in the game yet another option, and one that is among the coolest classic comic book looks that the game can offer.
