‘Edge of Spider-Verse’ Set to Conclude with Two New Spider-Heroes
It has been one of the coolest multiversal stories of the year, and despite the plethora of heroes that it has introduced over its run, there is still one entry remaining, and it is primed to bring some big players to the party, as Edge of Spider-Verse is set to conclude with two new Spider-Heroes.
In the last decade, or so, one aspect of the Marvel universe that has become immensely- and rather surprisingly- popular has been the exploration of the multiversal Spider-Verse; a nearly endless collection of alternate realities that involve the iconic Spider-Man.
It was an endeavor that first truly gained legs back when Marvel created the Ultimates universe, and Miles Morales was born as the very first character to carry on the mantle of Spider-Man outside of the beloved and iconic Peter Parker.
Eventually, those stories grew in popularity, and both Miles and Peter would exist in the same stories in massive crossover events that included some incredible multiversal heroes of them both; and that Spider-Verse has become the massively important basis of one of this year’s coolest and most creative runs.
With its various issues introducing everyone from a Spider-Princess to a Jurrasic Spider-Man incarnate, the final issue will introduce two new versions of the heroes that will lengthen that list of iconic Spider-Man variants, as Edge of Spider-Verse is set to conclude with two new Spider-Heroes.
These two new Spider-Heroes are Web-Weaver, and Hunter-Spider, and they’re set to join Spider-REx, Spider-UK, and Sun-Spider as some of Edge of Spider-Verse’s incredible new lineup of heroes.

Web-Weaver is defined by Marvel as “a not-so-mild mannered fashion designer at Van Dyne gets spider-powers and shows us a very different kind of Spider-Slayer in a story by Steve Foxe and Kel Zama.
While Hunter-Spider is described as, “Imagine a world where Sergei Kravinoff got Spider-Powers. Meet Hunter-Spider, the most hardcore Spider yet, in a riveting tale by Dan Slott, J.M. DeMatteis, and Bob McLeod!”
Fans can meet both of these heroes this October 5th in the epic conclusion of Slott’s phenomena Edge of Spider-Verse run.
