‘Marvel’s Avengers’ Celebrates 2-Year Anniversary
It has been one of the biggest Marvel video games in the decades-long history of the company’s exploration into the medium, as Marvel’s Avengers celebrates its 2-year anniversary.
There is no denying that with the reemergence of Marvel due to the overwhelming success of the MCU, the subsequent video game crafted around the biggest collection in the publication’s history would be a smashing success.

Although it hasn’t always been smooth sailing, that has mostly been the case, with there being few video games that have been as talked about, and played through, for as long as Marvel’s Avengers.
A game that brought a new kind of playability to the Marvel Universe, this was an endeavor that differed from the wildly successful Sony’s Spider-Man franchise that was an open-world adventure.

This project was a mission-based experience that allowed fans to play as some of their favorite Avengers to ever join the team; with a roster that was constantly growing.
And perhaps that is where the project differed so much from Marvel, and any other video game endeavors, as this wasn’t simply an installment of a franchise of video game series, this was a foundation that was the subject of near-endless building.

The roster, the missions, and the overall world of his version of the Marvel universe would grow with every updated patch, introducing iconic Marvel characters like Kate Bishop, Clint Barton, and Black Panther to the original lineup.
And now, it has been a celebratory day for the massive video game, as Marvel’s Avengers is celebrating its 2-year anniversary.

Fans have taken to Twitter to bring their appreciation for what the iconic video game has accomplished over its initial two years of existence, with the studio acknowledging that this is just the beginning.
There is a case to be made that Marvel’s Avengers has a place as one of the best Marvel video games ever created, but nonetheless, it still stands as one of the greatest long-term successes the industry can offer.
