‘Cold War’ Event is Looming for Captain America
They have been two of the biggest series of the year for Marvel comics, and they have built to the massive conspiracy, as the Cold War event is looming for Captain America.
Earlier this year, we got the official release of two simultaneous Captain America stories that explored the journey of the two carriers of the iconic Shield.

There was the Captain America: Symbol of Truth series that followed the second Captain America, Sam Wilson, and his journey.
And then there was the Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty series that followed the original hero himself, Steve Rogers, on a journey of uncovering secrets to his very origin.

Now, those two runs are colliding in an event that is sure to challenge everything we know about the beloved Marvel hero.
There is nothing known about what is to come from this series, with one certainty; the Cold War Event is looming for our Captain America.

In a recent press release by Marvel.com, the impending event was described with the following;
“With new villains rising, old allies joining the fight, and shocking secrets about the very foundation of Captain America’s legacy emerging, both titles are heating up ahead of Cold War, next year’s Captain America Crossover!”

The release went on to state, “Cold War will bring both Steve and Sam’s current adventures together in an epic that will leave a lasting impact on the Captain America mythos and the groundwork has already begun.”
Both of the series are continuing in the unprecedented simultaneous run, with the creative duo of Colin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing bringing a brand new Invader storyline to the Outer Circle conflict of Sentinel of Liberty.

Meanwhile, Tochi Onyebuchi and Ig Guara bring Sam Wilson to Wakanda as he faces off against the White Wolf, in a series that includes heroes like Falcon, Nomad, Black Panther, and Nightshade.
