Man-Thing Set to Make MCU Debut in ‘Werewolf by Night’
It may be one of our most anticipated Marvel projects of the coming year, and we now know that its set to debut more than one new character, as Man-Thing is set to make his MCU debut in the upcoming Werewolf by Night.
There is one thing we can count on when it comes to Marvel Studios’ presence at any major announcement panel; they will bring things for us to talk about.
Their most recent appearance at the highly-anticipated D23 event was no different, as Marvel unveiled a plethora of trailers and comments surrounding upcoming projects from its film, streaming, and video game endeavors for the coming year.
One of the coolest of these announcements- and what may be our most anticipated project for the next couple of months- is the unveiling of the upcoming Werewolf by Night.
A Disney+ MCU holiday special that is set to be unlike anything that Marvel fans have seen before, Werewolf by Night looks to be Marvel’s homage to the classic monster movie that has been so beloved throughout history.
The black and white aesthetic, the way first-time director Michael Giacchino has edited the project, makes sit feel like a beautiful celebration of those classic films while introducing Marvel’s own resident monster.
But it appears as though the MCU’s Werewolf wont be the only new Marvel character set to arrive during the project, as Man-Thing is now set to make his MCU debut in the upcoming Wereworld by Night special.
Man-Thing is one of Marvel’s most exciting characters and has always been an even more interesting case in terms of his potential adaptation into the world of live action.

Although finding the right project to introduce the character was always the challenge, Werewolf by Night, does, in fact, feel like the perfect place to begin his MCU journey.
Whether or not the character becomes a mainstay in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still up for debate, but it is incredible to know that we have the opportunity for these characters to make appearances in projects like these.
