Thanos Legacy in Asgard will be Uncovered in Thor #29
It is one of the coolest runs in Marvel comics, and it will now delve into one of the most iconic villains, as Thanos’ legacy in Asgard will be uncovered in the upcoming Thor #29
Within the massive history of Marvel comics, there are few characters who are as unique as Thor; a public domain figure who has become a staple in the world.
Marvel brought Thor into the fold in a way that explored the mythical aspects of the Marvel Universe, bringing to life nine realms of the mythos, and expanding the world that much further.
Since his inception into this world, and that initial exploration, Thor has been reimagined and continuously explored in ways that further strengthened the hero’s ties to this world.
But now, one of the most devastating forces in Marvel history will join his story, as Thanos legacy in Asgard will be uncovered in the upcoming Thor #29.
The Thor series brought to life by Donny Cates and Nic Klein is entering into a brand new arc this December titled The Legacy of Thanos, where the villain will play a central role in the story.

In a press release about the title, Marvel stated, “Teh arc will be penned by guest writer Torunn Gronbekk who will join returning series artist and newly christened Stormbreaker Nic Klein for an adventure starring Thor and the Valkyrie Runa.”
The release added, “the arc will spin directly out of Thanos: Death Notes, the oversized Thanos one-shot hitting stands in November, and it will serve as a pivotal prelude to Cates and Klein’s future plans for Thanos’ upcoming conquest.”
The story starts when, “a universally loathed for kidnaps Thor’s baby sister LAussa and drags her so deep beyond Hel that not even Sif’s All-Sight can see her,” as Thor then calls upon Runa for her aid, and uncovers some of the darkest bloody secrets that lay beneath Asgards frozen waters.
