Thor has always been an interesting case study in the world of Marvel, as he is so closely connected with some of Marvel’s most iconic writers, but was never an original creation by the company.
A legend of Norse mythology, Thor existed in the public domain, and found fame in the house of ideas due to his inclusion in the Avengers, and his history crafted into the very DNA of the Marvel Universe.

The image that was posted to the Funko Twitter account showcases Thor in the traditional Funko POP! design that most fans will receive when they purchase the figure, but he is positioned alongside the fully metal version that is much rarer.
A copper color, this chase variant of Thor is the perfect addition to any Funko, and Marvel fans, collection.
