‘She/Hulk’ Star Jameela Jamil and Director Anu Vaila Talk Titania
She has been the recurring antagonist of the series thus far, as She/Hulk star Jameela Jamil and director Anu Vaila talk about bringing Titania to life.
Marvel’s newest series has just three episodes left, and it is already one of the most entertaining Marvel projects to be released on Disney+.
Not only has Tatiana Maslany brilliantly brought Jennifer Walters to life, but writer Jessica Gao has crafted some of the best side characters of any Marvel Cinematic Universe project.
Of all of those side characters, one has continually been a thorn in the side Walters, and her presence has been one of the best parts of the project’s last two episodes.
Speaking to Marvel.com, She/Hulk star Jameela Jamil and director Anu Vaila talk about bringing Titania to life, and why she is the most dangerous villain.

Talking about the villain, Vaila stated, “That villain is the scariest type of villain. As a woman, that ‘mean girl who wants your ass like that is the worst.”
Vaila continued, “There is nothing worse [than that]. If someone wants to beat me up, that’s kind of fine. But if someone wants to humiliate me and dress me down? There’s truly nothing worse.”
The director continued, “Jameela was born to play this. She understands the role so deeply. She knew what she wanted to do. She’s a genius.”
Jameela Jamil then stated, “She’s just got this fearlessness that I envy that in a way- but I don’t want to be like her in any other way. I enjoy the fact that she does not give a damn what anyone else thinks. She knows what she wants and she’s going to go after it at any cost.”
Jamil continued, “It’s fun watching a woman be so disobedient and so reckless with the social contract. So year, I love her.”
