Jennifer Walters and Matt Murdock Are Our New Favorite MCU Couple
With Marvel’s most recent series finally hosting the return of Daredevil, there is no denying that Jennifer Walters and Matt Murdock are our new favorite MCU couple.
The MCU’s newest hero is finally upon us, and she is living up to the massive hype surrounding her long-awaited arrival to the Marvel cinematic universe.
A character that has long been one of the most popular in the Marvel pantheon, Jennifer Walters was always a hero that fans had imagined eventually having a place in Marvel’s live-action film universe.
That day has finally come, and Walters has been the subject of her very own Disney+ series, one that has perfectly encapsulated so much of what makes that character interesting.
Brilliantly brought to life by Tatiana Maslany, it feels as though every single episode is yet another confirmation that she is the perfect choice to play this iconic character, and could be invaluable to the MCU moving forward.
Her incredible performance alongside the incredible creative team of writer Jessica Gao, and directors Kat Coiro and Anu Vaila have orchestrated a project that has been one of the most entertaining and creative that Marvel has ever attempted.
And one of the most exciting aspects of the new series was the eventual arrival of Daredevil, the iconic hero who had been rumored to appear in the show following its first real trailer.
Episode 8 finally saw him arrive, and after an episode filled with She/Hulk and Daredevil hijinks, one thing is absolutely certain; Jennifer Walters and Matt Murdock are our new favorite MCU couple.
The episode saw the two characters interact quite a bit during this installment, and the one thing that was noticeable right away was the insane chemistry between the two; with both actors having a natural magnetism between one another.
That combined with the history of both heroes never being shy with who they love, was a perfect storm that has created a relationship that should absolutely be explored in future installments of the MCU.
