Marvel Reportedly Met With Adam Driver for Potential Fantastic Four Role
He is among the best actors in the industry today and has long been the focus of fan casts to eventually join the MCU, but we now have a brand new rumor that suggests Marvel has met with Adam Driver for a potential Fantastic Four role.
There is no denying that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has an intense amount riding on the success of its Fantastic Four reboot.
Marvel’s First Family is among the most important teams ever created for the comic book genre, and they stand out as being some of the earliest unique takes on what a hero could be, and how different dynamics could be used to make them all the more compelling.
The team has been adapted to the big screen multiple times, and has three separate films to boast in their history; and although the first two were decently received by fans, there is no denying that all three entires left a lot to be desired.
It seems Marvel Studios is certainly taking their tie in getting this own right, as the most we know about the film is that it is set to be directed by Matt Shakman; but it seems as though casting is well underway with an interesting front runner rising to the surface.
With the casting search currently undergoing, we now have rumors swirling that Marvel has met with Adam Driver about a potential Fantastic Four role, with ComicBook.com confirming the validity of the rumor, without confirming if it is true or not.
There is no understating the talent of Driver, and how perfect he would be as either Reed Richards or Doctor Doom, but there is a fair amount of hesitancy to believe the rumors considering Driver’s penchant for character-driven stories with much smaller budgets.
The only is real evidence to the contrary is what can only be described as his seemingly very poor experience with the Star Wars films.
