It is a potential casting that has gotten fans tremendously excited, as it has now been corroborated by some of the most reputable sights in entertainment writing that acting legend Harrison Ford is set to debut as Thunderbolt Ross in the upcoming Captain America 4.
For as little as the character had been present in the MCU at times, there is no denying the importance of Thunderbolt Ross to the overarching narrative of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
He is a character that has long been one of the lesser-liked villains, but is nonetheless iconic for what he was always able to bring to the world of the Marvel Universe, and had done so much of the same during his time in the MCU.
It was a presence that was in jeopardy, however, when actor William Hurt passed away last year, leaving the character in flux, and the role void.
