‘Werewolf by Night’ Gives Fans Gorr Easter Egg
The most recent MCU project blew so many away with its incredibly inventive end unique take on the MCU, and with so much about it presenting a very new side of the Marvel Universe, Werewolf by Night also featured a very interesting Gorr Easter Egg.
There is no denying that the very first MCU Special Presentation was a welcome surprise for Marvel fans, as it presented an entirely new take on an entirely new realm of the Marvel Universe.
delving into the supernatural corners of the Marvel Cinematic Univers that had yet to be explored, the more recent MCU project was a lesson in creativity and risk-taking, presenting an homage to the 1930s and 1940s monster movies that were so instrumental to the film industry.
First-time director Michael Giacchino was fantastic in his directorial debut, and the story was a breath of fresh air for fans who were very hesitant to see how this very unique story was brought to life on this stage
It surpasses so many expectations, however, and presented a story that pushes the supernatural corners of the film franchise into a brand new direction, but it also clearly pays homage to some of the MCU’s most recent characters.
One of these comes in the form of a callback, as Werewolf by Night gives fans a Gorr Easter Egg that presents the comic book version of the iconic character fans adore.

It comes in the form of a mural on the wall as Jack first enters the stage, with what looks to be a comic-accurate Gorr getting killed by hunters; a great nod to the God Butcher that has just seen their MCU debut
