Violent ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Trailer Teases Punisher’s New Logo
After years of development that eventually led to a creative overhaul, The Man Without Fear will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) on March 4, when Daredevil: Born Again debuts on Disney+.
For those who haven’t been closely following the show’s development, the series was initially announced at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con, with the expectation that Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio would reprise their respective roles as Daredevil and Kingpin from the Netflix Daredevil series that ran from 2015 through 2018.
Initially, Marvel wanted to distance Born Again from the original series. However, that changed during the 2023 Hollywood strikes when production on the series was shut down.
A Creative Overhaul
During the break, Kevin Feige and his team watched the completed episodes of Daredevil: Born Again and determined that something needed to change.

Eventually, Marvel made Born Again a continuation of the original Netflix series, leaning into the show’s gritty tone and violent action scenes. Thus, Daredevil: Born Again was reborn.
The First ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Trailer Was Released Last Month
Last month, Disney released the first trailer for the upcoming series, which featured Matt Murdock (Chalie Cox) and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) having a tense yet polite conversation in a cafe.

Throughout their discussion, it is revealed that Fisk has been elected Mayor of New York City. Murdock, meanwhile, has retired from fighting crime as Daredevil. Still, dark impulses haunt both characters.
Daredevil Violence and a New Punisher Logo
Now, with just weeks to go until the series debuts, Marvel has released a new TV trailer for Daredevil: Born Again.

In the brief clip, Daredevil is shown exacting his vengeance.
“I was raised to believe in grace, that we can be transformed into a better person,” he says in the clip. “But I was also raised to believe in retribution.”
In addition to showing Daredevil in action, the new clip also gives a preview of the new Punisher logo, which only shows half of a skull.
