Shang-Chi Gets Sept. 3rd Release Date
It isn’t just Black Widow that’s getting a new release date! According to a note tucked at the bottom of an article on Entertainment Weekly‘s website, the extremely anticipated Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie starring Simu Liu, will now be landing in theaters on September 3rd, 2021.

The previously scheduled release date for Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was July 9th. However, that will now be Black Widow‘s release date, which will be released both in theaters and for streaming on Disney+.

This means that we’ll have plenty of big-screen (or in some cases, small-screen streaming) MCU goodness to look forward to in the final quarter of 2021!
Soon after the September 3rd release date for Shang-Chi, the next MCU movie, Eternals will be arriving on November 5th, 2021.

And that’s not all for the MCU in 2021 (we weren’t kidding about that stacked final quarter)! Webheads, on December 17th, 2021, Tom Holland (and, potentially, an as-of-yet unidentified number of additional Spider-People) will be swinging back to the big screen in Spider-Man 3: No Way Home.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
We’re only a few months away from the release of Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and you’re probably hungry for more information about the movie! And while we still haven’t had a chance to see a trailer for Shang-Chi yet, you can bet one will be on the way soon! We certainly know that the film’s star is rooting for a trailer drop sooner rather than later. After no Shang-Chi teaser premiered during the Big Game, Liu took to Twitter to express his disappointment – and ours!
