MTV Awards: The Nominations
Both WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier have each received multiple nominations for the MTV Movie & TV Awards.
1. WandaVision
WandaVision has been nominated for best show, Elizabeth Olsen has been nominated for Best Performance in a Show, the show-stopping Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) has been nominated for Best Villain in a Show (and she’d better win, Marvel Blog True Believers), and the climactic battle between Wanda and Agatha has been nominated for Best Fight.
2. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Meanwhile, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has received several nominations all its own. First, Anthony Mackie has been nominated for “Best Hero” for his performance as Sam Wilson (we’re wholly on-board with this one, Marvel Blog True Believers). Plus, Wilson and his co-star Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes have been nominated, the odd-couple superhero pairing is up for Best Duo.
In addition to these MCU nominations, plenty of other excellent movies and shows are being honored, so you’ll want to check out the full listings for yourself.
Vote Early, Vote Often, Vote Agatha All Along
You can vote every day for the MTV Movie & TV Awards, so if you really want Agatha to win Best Villain – and we really do, Marvel Blog True Believers – then you’ll want to bookmark the website and return regularly, until the winners are announced on May 16th, 2021 at 9:00 PM Eastern Time. But before you cast your vote, remember: Agatha is watching you (possibly alongside with a live studio audience) and she’s not afraid to bite children if you don’t vote for her!
