CAP HYPE: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier ‘Reason’ Teaser
Marvel Studios hints at a huge climactic showdown in the season finale of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in a teaser called “Reason” released on YouTube on Thursday, April 22nd, 2021, which is the eve of the release of the final episode of the freshman season of the six episode series streaming on Disney+!
As you might expect, the teaser (and this article) include spoilers for the first five episodes of the ongoing Disney+ Marvel Cinematic Universe series! Bail out of this timeline now if you want to avoid spoilers.
Inside “Reason”
The teaser, which is subtitled “Reason,” opens with some scenes from the previous episodes of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, reminding viewers that Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) originally delivered the shield to the Smithsonian Museum.

Then, we get a few catch-up scenes from the season finale set-up we saw in the fifth and penultimate episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, “Truth.”

These include scenes that show Batroc the Leaper (Georges St-Pierre) leaping into action alongside the Flag-Smashers to interrupt a GRA Summit (a team-up that may have been organized by Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp), who could just be the Power Broker).

Then, a few shots seems to reveal some of the explosive action on the way to Disney+ tomorrow, Friday, April 23rd, 2021! While we don’t want to get too excited, since there are scenes from the previous five episodes of the season, we do hope that some of these shots hint at a return for one of our favorite MCU characters: Ayo of the Dora Milaje (played by Florence Kasumba).
