Confirmed: Oscar Isaac Is Moon Knight!
In a Tweet sent just before noon on May 27th, 2021, from the Marvel Studios Twitter account, it was finally officially confirmed that Oscar Isaac will be portraying the eponymous character in the Disney+ Moon Knight series, another exciting upcoming entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marc Spector
As devoted Marvel Blog True Believers are well aware, rumors that Isaac would be playing the role of Marc Spector, A.K.A. Moon Knight, have been circulating for some time.
Back in October 2020, when a director for the upcoming Disney+ series was confirmed, we already suspected Isaac would be Spector, even if it hadn’t been officially announced.

Back in March 2021, it seemed like Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige may have inadvertently confirmed the casting.
And in April 2021, footage of Isaac training for the part surfaced.

Nevertheless, Marvel Studios continued to play coy, refusing to officially confirm Issac in the role… until today, that is!
Isaac Galore
You already recognize Issac from many of his previous roles, perhaps the highest profile of which is that of Poe Dameron in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, Episode VIII – The Last Jedi, and Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker.
