22 Extra Minutes of Black Widow in IMAX!
Are you looking for the perfect way to re-launch your big-screen Marvel Cinematic Universe experiences? Then consider heading to an IMAX theater to see Marvel Studios’ Black Widow on a screen so big it makes Galactus look like he’s fun sized!
According to an article on Deadline, the version of Black Widow that will be released in IMAX theaters not only includes a bigger screen, allowing you to see 26% more of the picture in select scenes, but it will also include an additional 22 minutes of footage exclusive to the IMAX edition of the movie.
At Home & In Theaters
On July 9th, 2021, you’ll finally be able to watch the highly anticipated Black Widow (O.K., you got me, all Marvel movies are highly anticipated) on screen. Originally scheduled for release in 2020, the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic caused several inevitable delays in the Scarlett Johansson starring movie about the butt-kicking spy from the Red Room.
Fortunately, on July 9th, audiences will be able to see the movie either in theaters, or by streaming it through Disney+ with the additional charge associated with Premiere Access.
However, if you want to see every minute of the first solo story for the late Avenger known as Black Widow, you’ll want to infiltrate an IMAX theater come July!
Phase Four Is Upon Us
Black Widow is an integral part of the next chapter of the MCU. Although it was supposed to be the first movie of Phase Four, thanks to pandemic scheduling changes, that didn’t happen and we’re already in the midst of the fourth phase, which includes the Disney+ streaming shows WandaVision, Captain America and the Winter Soldier, and Loki, the first episode of which is available for streaming as of today, June 9th, 2021.
With only one month until Black Widow arrives on big screens and Disney+, now is the time to make your decisions about where you’ll be seeing the movie! Which option are you going with, Marvel Blog True Believers? Let us know what you’re thinking in the comment section!
