Kate Herron Wraps LOKI from Parent’s Kitchen Table!
In a Tweet sent on Sunday, June 20th, 2021, Loki director Kate Herron announced that she had completed work on the series season finale and sent it to off to Disney+.
And that’s a wrap on #loki with our finale now gone to @disneyplus!!! I can’t believe I finished this show sat at my parents kitchen table, the same table where I put my pitch together nearly two years ago. Thank you @MarvelStudios for changing my life and to our wonderful team pic.twitter.com/XElnKMjQS1

Herron followed up with a Tweet that clarified that they had wrapped photography previously, and this was the intended deadline for the finalized version of the season finale. Is anyone else tempted to commit a Nexus event in order to see this episode right now, or is that just me…?
Don’t You… Forget About Me
In the initial Tweet, Herron made a point of thanking both Marvel Studios and the team that worked on the ongoing Marvel Cinematic Universe streaming series.
The Tweet also featured a gif of Loki re-enacting the final scene of The Breakfast Club, which Herron credited to Chris MacFarlane in a subsequent Tweet.
If you haven’t been following Herron on Twitter, you may want to consider doing so at your earlier possible convenience. Maybe it’s no surprise that the director behind the hilarious, time- and mind-bending Disney+ series is a wry commentator, but she’s been consistently serving hilarious takes as press for Loki has ramped up.
For example, check out her hilarious reaction when a news source used an image of a Herron Variant instead of Herron Prime for their coverage of the show:
Can we please find out who this model is so she can do all my press? https://t.co/tIsxhsLp7T

Breakfast Club Loki
If you can’t wait for the next episode of Loki, well, you aren’t alone! There’s a reason that this series was at the top of many people’s “must-see” lists, and now that the first episodes have been released, our level of anticipation is only rising! And Herron’s regular commentary on Twitter is only increasing our anticipation for the rest of the series.
From the moment I joined @LokiOfficial it was very important to me, and my goal, to acknowledge Loki was bisexual. It is a part of who he is and who I am too. I know this is a small step but I’m happy, and heart is so full, to say that this is now Canon in #mcu #Loki 💗💜💙 pic.twitter.com/lz3KJbewx8
