Are you stoked about the new animated series Spidey and His Amazing Friends, premiering on Disney Channel and Disney Junior at 9:00 AM EDT on Friday, August 6th, 2021? Can’t wait to get your first glimpse of the characters on this exciting new show? Well, good news, Marvel Blog True Believers: there are currently eleven shorts on Disney+ that will introduce you to the trio of Spider-Folks right now!

Meet Spidey
Eleven episodes of Meet Spidey and His Amazing Friends Shorts are currently available for streaming on Disney+. Each of these episodes are just a few minutes long a piece, and offer you your first taste of the heroes and villains who will be arriving with Spidey on August 6th.
And we mean villains! The promotional images for this new series include some of Marvel Blog’s favorite foes from Spidey’s rogues gallery over the years… but will these villains be friend or foe in the series? We’ll have to tune in to find out!

In addition, this new series includes Peter Parker (Spidey) introducing his fellow Spider-Friends, Miles Morales (Spin) and Gwen Stacy (Ghost Spider), to Web-ster, the computer that helps Trace-E runs things when they’re out on adventures (Trace-E is a Spider-Bot, just like the ones you can get for yourself at Avengers Campus).

In the second short, we get to meet Aunt May, when she sends Spidey on a mission to find her missing pet tabby cat, Bootsie! This short also gives us a look at the Parker residence (which is painted in a familiar blue-and-red color scheme) and Peter’s room, which is filled with all kinds of web-slinging-related memorabilia!
As the episodes go on, viewers are introduced to other Marvel heroes (and villains) who will appear in the series. Plus, these shorts give you a chance to hear Patrick Stump’s music for the series in action… and let me tell you, Marvel Blog True Believers, it sounds AMAZING!
