Fight Lilith When Marvel’s Midnight Sons Arrives in 2022
In an article posted to the official Marvel website on Wednesday, August 25th, 2021, a trailer for the upcoming game Marvel’s Midnight Sons was released! This all-new tactical RPG game from Firaxis Games and 2K promises to illuminate the darker corners of the Marvel Universe.
Featuring a story that centers the Book of the Damned itself – that’s right, Marvel Blog True Believers, we’re talking the freakin’ Darkhold – this game will assemble a rough-and-tumble team of the Marvel heroes you don’t want to run into in a dark alley!
When Hell awakens, only they can stop it. Rise up and join a darker order of heroes to defeat Lilith before the Darkhold is complete.#DarknessFalls when Marvel's Midnight Suns arrives March 2022. pic.twitter.com/XRflu6fyY1

Marvel’s Midnight Sons
In Marvel’s Midnight Sons, players will follow a story that sees Hydra resurrecting Lillith, the Master of Demons! In order to stop her, the Avengers enlist some of the young heroes of the Midnight Sons, a team with characters who have powers that are mostly rooted in the supernatural – like Nico Minoru of the Runaways and Robbie Reyes as Ghost Rider.
Together, the young heroes summon Hunter, Lilith’s forsaken child – who has had experience vanquishing her in the past. While Marvel’s Midnight Sons is an original story, it is deeply rooted in the supernatural side of Marvel Comics, a side that is getting more and more mainstream attention these days!
In fact, the team itself is from the tombs of the comic shop (want a preview of the marvelous history of the Marvel Comics dark magic team from George “Mars” Marston, read it here).
This tactical RPG will be released on all major consoles (yay!), including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, XBOX One, and Nintendo Switch (which is how I’ll be playing, Marvel Blog True Believers). In addition, the game will be released through Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Check Out the Preview on Wednesday
While we’ll have to wait until March 2022 for the full version of this game, if you want to see more, then you can head to the official Marvel’s Midnight Sons website next Wednesday, September 1st, 2021, to see more details about the game in a special gameplay reveal video.
And don’t forget, Marvel Blog True Believers: the Darkhold isn’t just coming to Marvel video games and Disney+ shows, it’s also going to be playing a big role in some upcoming comics!
