What’s Up Next for MARVEL COMICS?
In an article posted to the official Marvel Entertainment website on Tuesday, August 31st, 2021, the next few months of Marvel Comics titles were revealed… answering some of the questions that have been plaguing us, Marvel Blog True Believers!
In the announcement, Marvel revealed the eight tentpole titles that will be featured across the line for the next three months. Let’s check them out!
Devil’s Reign by Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto
I was a little confused by the story at the end of the Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) issue featuring Spider-Man/Venom, but now it’s starting to make sense: it was a teaser for this comic about Kingpin, who is about declare an all-out war on Marvel’s heroes in Hell’s Kitchen!
As an immense fan of Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) on Netflix’s Daredevil (not to mention Liev Schreiber’s oversize performance in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), I am very intrigued by this story. Sign me up!

Avengers Forever by Jason Aaron and Aaron Kuder
This Marvel Comics story features the continuation of the story from the FCBD issue featuring Avengers/Hulk, and is another intriguing tale from the writer behind Heroes Reborn…
And just like Heroes Reborn, this story is dealing with multiverses. You’re really bringing your A-game here, Marvel!

Timeless by Jed MacKay, Kev Walker, Joe Bennett, and Mark Bagley
This major event will center none other than Kang the Conqueror! When a new timeline begins to threaten the stability of Marvel’s 616, Kang must work hard to protect the timeline he worked centuries to solidify!
In other words, the currently available Kang the Conqueror #1 will probably be very important for the next stage of Marvel Comics, Marvel Blog True Believers…

X Lives of Wolverine & X Deaths of Wolverine by Benjamin Percy, Joshua Cassara, and Federico Vicentini
This isn’t the first time Wolverine has died and come back to life… a fact alluded to by the titles of this pair of books! We’re not sure if this is a new title or a continuation of Percy’s current work on the series, but we’ll find out by January 2022.

She-Hulk by Rainbow Rowell and Rogé Antônio
According to the official website, this story will put She-Hulk back in the courtroom! Rowell was previously the main writer on the most recent run of Runaways, but with that series ending, it looks like she’s headed to court!

Fantastic Four: Reckoning War by Dan Slott, Carlos Pacheco, and Rachel Stott
Slott has been working at Marvel Comics for several decades, and this comic promises to deliver a story fifteen years in the making! With more and more rumors about the arrival of the Fantastic Four in the MCU, this comic could be an important one!

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur by ???
There are no details about this title, which might be the most interesting of the bunch! The first volume of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur was an absolutely banger of a run, with one amazing issue after another, so another series starring the titular duo is very exciting!
With an animated Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur show on the way, you know Marvel will put their all into this book, and I just can’t wait for this series… Will Natacha Bustos be back for Moon Girl’s return?
