NOV. 12: Marvelous New Arrivals on DISNEY+ DAY feat. SHANG-CHI!
In an article posted to ABC7 News on Tuesday, September 21st, 2021, the impending streaming arrivals for Disney+ Day on November 12th, 2021 were announced, and as you might expect, they include some offerings from Marvel Studios!
But the biggest news from the lineup announcement is probably the fact that Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the most highly-rated Marvel Cinematic Universe movie maybe ever (as well as the most watched movie of the pandemic), will be available for streaming on Disney+ on November 12th. YAY!

Even if you haven’t seen Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings yet, for whatever reason, you probably already know that the latest MCU film smashed Labor Day weekend box office record, in spite of the pandemic.

And in case you are high risk (like me) and haven’t had the chance to see the movie yet, you should know that it teases what’s next for the MCU (more on that here, but beware of spoilers)!
Luckily, however, not only is Shang-Chi available for streaming on Disney+ on November 12th, aka Disney+ Day, fans can also learn about how the company plans to continue to expand into the Asia-Pacific markets, as well as other places around the globe. Plus, there will be special offers all day… maybe something else Marvel-themed?

MCU Specials & More
But in addition to Shang-Chi, there’s another piece of MCU media (ok, maybe it will be MCU) that will be arriving on the streaming service on Disney+ Day: there’s also going to be a special that will celebrate everyone’s favorite animated cinematic world!

Confused? Well, there’s also going to be a brand-new short based on The Simpsons! Although we already got one Marvel-themed Simpsons short this year, since the description for this one says it “pays tribute to the Disney+ marquee brands,” it’s pretty hard to imagine we won’t get some more Marvel!

On top of all this, the article also says that Disney+ Day will feature tons of “first looks” at unspecified upcoming Disney+ properties, and it seems pretty inevitable that this will include more of what’s coming up on the release schedule for the wider MCU!
