ANIMAL CROSSING: The Game of Super Heroes!
Earlier this week, you might have noticed a lot of buzz online about a certain Nintendo Switch game: Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The most recent entry in the long-running Animal Crossing franchise was released in March, 2020, just in time for the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic to make it the biggest video game ever on Nintendo Switch (at least count, ACNH had sold 26 million copies, putting it on track to be the best selling game in Nintendo history).

Players were excited because Nintendo has announced an update for the game, which will bring the beloved avian Brewster to the island museum. But what you might not realize is that some of the biggest fans of this game are none other than the actors behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s biggest heroes!
Avengers, Animal Crossing Assemble!
One of the huge fans of the game is none other than Captain Marvel, Brie Larson. In her adorable YouTube videos, Larson shares everything she’s into, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons has had a prime spot in the lineup since it was released in spring of 2020!
But that’s not the only Avenger who is busy building their own island getaway thanks to Animal Crossing!
The most recent movie to be released in the MCU may be Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, so the film’a star, Simu Liu, will probably have to explain to his island animal residents that he’s been pretty preoccupied with red carpet release parties and such and that’s why he hasn’t been by their homes anytime recently to bring them gifts!
However, hopefully things will die down for Liu before the October update with Brewster arrives. Will he bring some cute coffee furniture? Could be ideal for furnishing a Karaoke Bar setup, Marvel Blog True Believers… especially since Liu’s co-star Awkwafina has been known to hang out on an island or two!
