‘Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse: Part One’ Gives us our First Look…And Its AWESOME!
Sony promised us our very first look at the highly anticipated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel and it did not disappoint; Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse: Part One gives us our first look…and boy was it something!
the 2018 animated classic, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is the Academy Award-winning film that chronicles the story of Miles Morales as he inherits the Spider-Man mantle in the wildest of ways.

The film uncovered the Multiverse and explored the various characters who take up that same Spider-Man mantle in their own universes.
One of the most iconic Spider-Man stories ever told; Into the Spider-Verse featured incredible animation styles, a brand new take on the iconic Peter Parker, and proved Miles Morales to be one of the best incarnations of Stan Lee’s original inception of the character.

Many fans have patiently awaited the long-anticipated follow-up film, and it appears that finally the newly announced title of the sequel Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse: Part One gives us our first look.

The animation of the scenes within this first look gave fans the same style that has come to so define the look of the original; with the same kind of distorted animation appearing whenever a character travels through different dimensions.
Showing off a much older character model for Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy, Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse Part One gives the sense that time has passed, these characters have grown up, but they remain the same adored characters we saw in the 2018 classic.

What was perhaps the greatest moment of the first look, however, is how it concluded.
With Miles swinging through the depths of the multiverse- seeming to swing half terrified- we witness an ominous presence attack him.

This is none other than Spider-Man 2099; the Oscar Isaac played character teased in the post-credit scene for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
With the film being labeled as a part one, it is clear that we are at least getting a trilogy out of the Miles Spider-Verse saga; and it should be an incredible ride with the iconic Spider-Man 2099, and the beloved Miles and Spider-Gwen going head to head.
