Marvel Debuts First Trailer for ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’!
With Spider-Man: No Way Home coming off of a massive and record-breaking opening weekend, the MCU is looking ahead to what’s next as Marvel debuts the first trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness!
This is about to get out of hand…
One of the most interesting titles of Marvel Phase Four slate is on the way as the sequel to 2016’s Doctor Strange is preparing to completely shift the MCU as we know it.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is shaping up to be a continued exploration into the multiverse that was first introduced in Spider-Man: No Way Home, while also being a story centered on Doctor Strange and the massive responsibility placed upon the former Sorceror Supreme.
With Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Baron Mordo returning as the antagonist to this Doctor Strange sequel, he is bringing more than just his prowess as a sorcerer to the Multiverse of Madness.
The trailer has also given fans their first look at Elizabeth Olsen’s return to the MCU as Wanda Maximoff. Coming off the events at Westview during WandaVision, Scarlett Witch has firmly established herself as one of MCU’s strongest characters.
With Doctor Strange in a position to reach out to Maximoff for her help in understanding the vast and unpredictable Multiverse, it is very clear that Sam Raimi is creating a film that will explore previously uncharted territory that even the former Sorceror Supreme doesn’t understand.
Alongside these appearances comes our first look at America Chavez, a super-powered hero making her debut in the lauded MCU in the Doctor Strange Sequel; played by Xochitl Gomez, we see the reality jumping hero known as Miss America.
Chavez is known for her ability to punch doorways into different realities; which will come in handy as it pertains to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
The most surprising reveal of the trailer comes in the last frame, featuring what appears to be the evil variant of Doctor Strange that appeared in Marvel’s Disney+ animate anthology series What If…?
As Marvel officially debuts the first trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, we cant wait to see these Doctor Strange’s face-off, and just what the continued exploration into the Multiverse could entail for the Marvel Universe.
