Concept Artist Imagines Tom Holland’s Symbiote Spider-Man…And it is Amazing!
The movie event of the year featured perhaps the best Peter Parker story ever told; with the next installment of the franchise a complete unknown, one fan imagined our hero in the famous Black Suit storyline, as a concept artist imagines Tom Holland’s Symbiote Spider-Man…and it’s amazing!
Perhaps the greatest Peter Parker story ever told, Spider-Man: No Way Home stands alone as a feat in the history of comic book adaptations unrivaled by any contemporaries.
Exploring the story of the MCU’s iteration of the character, it also featured what can only be described as a celebration of the characters past 20 years on the big screen.
What also developed out of this record-breaking endeavor by Sony and Marvel was an overwhelming uncertainty as to where the story will go next.
With the unfortunate reality of the conclusion of the film featuring the world forgetting Peter Parker was ever Spider-Man, Sony and Marvel are left with a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man they can narratively take anywhere.
There was one clue that could indicate the future of the MCU’s Peter Parker, with a small portion of Venom’s symbiote suit being left behind after he was transported back to the Sony universe.
One fan imagined the Symbiote playing a major role in the character moving forward, as a concept artist imagines Tom Holland’s Symbiote Spider-Man: and it is incredible!
Thomas Du Crest is a concept artist who gave fans an incredible rendition of what Tom Hollands iteration of the character would look like bonded with the same Symbiote that created Venom in Sony’s developing Spider-Verse.
While I wait for the greenlight to show the work I did for #spidermannowayhome , here is a small take on what might come next 😉#spiderman #nowayhome #venom #darksuit #symbiote #tomholland #conceptart #spiderman4 #artistsontwitter #characterdesign #artwork #spiderverse pic.twitter.com/ftBEqhKR5v

The source material saw Peter Parker bond to the Symbiote after an incredible run following the black suit’s first appearance during Marvel’s Secret Wars saga.
The Amazing Spider-Man #258 showed the struggle for Peter to break free from the symbiote that so wished to take control over him.
This led to the creation of Eddie Brocks Venom and would serve as an incredible follow-up for Tom Hollands Peter Parker following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Time will only tell where Marvel and Sony are going to go with the MCU’s iteration of Peter Parker, but bonding him to the symbiote could be an exciting direction.
