All Signs Pointing to the High Evolutionary’s MCU Debut
One of Marvel’s most anticipated sequels is also one of their more unknown; yet, with some recent developments, it appears all signs are pointing to the High Evolutionary’s MCU debut.
A pillar franchise for the MCU, Guardians of the Galaxy has consistently been one of the most important for the ever-evolving Marvel Universe.

The mastery of James Gunn has catapulted the lesser-known Marvel Comics team into MCU stardom, crafting some of the most beloved characters the MCU has to offer.
With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, there appears to be business s usual for the acclaimed director, as the return of our beloved heroes, the end of an era, and the debut of Will Poutlers Adam Warlock awaits all of us.

Yet, there is still one of the greater mysteries involved with the upcoming third installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise; who is Chukwudi Iwuji playing?
Well, we seem to have some more insight on that most intriguing first appearance, and it appears as though all signs are pointing to the High Evolutionary’s MCU debut.

In an interview with Variety, the actor- who played the character of Murn on Gunn’s DC series Peacemaker– was asked about his enigmatic Marvel character, and working with Gunn again; to which he stated:

The produciton is so big. James and I, we’re picking up where we left off. [The character] is very different from Murn, It requires different stuff from me.
The way James works with me is pretty much the same, which is he trusts my choices- but at the same time when I give him a choice, he’s ready to push it further.
He’s making me push myself. This character needs an extremism that I didnt need to really tap into in Peacemaker that I’m tapping into here.

With the emphasis on Extremism, it appears as though High Evolutionary is a safe bet as to the character Iwuji will be playing; as he is a Marvel villain obsessed with the idea of Evolution.
If this does end up being the case then fans can expect a very interesting- and incredibly powerful- villain up against the beloved Guardians of the Galaxy in an MCU debut that will certainly be one to remember.
