Is a Brand New ‘Daredevil’ Coming to the MCU?
A beloved Marvel character, following his debut in the recently developing Marvel Phase Four, maybe getting his own reimaging as recent developments make us ask the question; is a brand new Daredevil coming to the MCU?
There are few Marvel characters as beloved throughout his Marvel history than Matt Murdock’s Daredevil.
The character was the center of his very own series as part of Marvel Studios’ collaboration with Netflix, as Daredevil quickly established itself as one of the premiere MCU projects.
Spanning three seasons, the series followed Charlie Cox’s interpretation of the character and presented what is easily his best live-action adaption of all time.
With his return to the MCU in Spider-Man: No Way Home, fans were ecstatic to see Cox reprise his iconic role, with many fans maintaining high hopes that the appearance was just the beginning for the character.
Recent developments, however, may not only indicate that the character will have a future in the MCU, but that he will be at the center of a brand new reboot series; which begs the question, is a brand new Daredevil coming to the MCU?
Reported by CBR, a trustworthy publication titled Production Weekly has reportedly indicated that there is a brand new project, simply titled, “Daredevil Reboot,” in development at the studio.
CBR notes, “the entry is filed alongside a plethora of projects already confirmed to be in development including Deadpool 3, Madame Web, Kraven The Hunter, and the DCEU movie Blue Beetle.”
The Netflix Daredevil series- alongside the various Marvel and Netflix collaborations- have all arrived on Disney+ this month, and have developed a renewed appreciation from fans.
The big question is whether or not fans are understanding about a series that is so well received being reimagined under the brand new MCU in a way that may differ greatly from the Daredevil series we already received.
We cannot wait to see what Marvel has in store for the Daredevil series its planning, as the character is well-deserving of his very own series under Marvel Studios
