‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Trailer Previews MCU Debut of Zeus and Mt. Olympus
It is finally here, as fans’ patience has been answered with the official Thor: Love and Thunder trailer; which, surprisingly, gives fans a glimpse at the MCU Debut of Zeus and Mt. Olympus.
There are few characters as important to the overall MCU, or as interesting in their evolution throughout their presence within it, like that of Thor.
The character was a tentpole in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as he was one of Marvel’s initial trinity; alongside Steve Rogers Captain America, and Tony Starks Iron Man as the MCU’s first entries.
With Thor: Ragnarok, and the subsequent Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, both providing a foundational metamorphosis for who Thor is, fans wait anxiously for this next installment that should fundamental challenge that very same growth and evolution.
Fans were eager to see the long-awaited MCU debut of Jane Foster’s Mighty Thor, and to get their first glimpse as the villainous and vengeful Gorr the God Butcher; and although fans ultimately got only one of those, there was another clip shown that showcases a very interesting addition to the film.
The Thor: Love and Thunder trailer previews the MCU Debut of Zeus and Mt. Olympus; two entities that should play a major role in the upcoming film.
The interesting thing to consider about the film is that Gorr the God Butcher will be hunting down various deities in order to get revenge on the class of mystic beings that have proven ineffective in defending and aiding the legions of beings under their domain.
We envision a world in which Gorr’s hunting down various gods leading Thor, Korg, and others to Mt. Olympus in order to try and get to the bottom of why these many gods are all winding up dead.
It will be a very interesting development to see how Thor and the various gods develop a plan to combat Gorr’s efforts in destroying what is essentially their entire race.
