Focusing on the multiversal narrative that has been a central theme of many Phase Four projects, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness should conclude the incredible arc for the MCU.
The film is set to see Marvel’s resident sorcerer coming face to face with the deteriorating multiverse and alternate realities that are collapsing in on themselves; with Strange and company forced to confront what lays beyond the unknown.

Although it has steadily fluctuated, the score now stands at 80% fresh, with over 160 critics reviews placed on the website to gain that score.
It seems to be a fair assessment of how the critics have rated the film, with even those critical of the latest Doctor Strange movie stating that it is still quite the adventure that may not achieve the heights that it aimed and hoped to achieve.

Following Spider-Man: No Way Home, it seems as though Marvel has committed to building these alternate reality and multiversal moments that border on fan service, with that commitment becoming the factor that will most likely contribute to any failure it could find.
With the 80% fresh grade, however, it does seem as though Marvel has found another massive hit; and with the recently released opening weekend projection numbers arriving, it could be the second-biggest film of the pandemic era.
