The answer was revealed as newcomer Iman Vellani; a young Muslim American actress with literal experience on a stage so big, being asked to portray a character that is undeniably iconic.

For many, the four-minute video is the first exposure that fans will have to the young actress, as it chronicles the production of the series, and her catapulting to the center of the Marvel stage.
the short documentary does more than just introduce you to the young actress, it will make you root for her; as it explores her connection with the character of Kamala Khan that predates her casting in the series, and it showcases the charm and endearing qualities of the young performer.

If there is one thing that is clearly seen in this latest documentary, it is that Iman Vellani is Marvel’s most likable young actor since Tom Holland was cast seven years ago; and her story is enough to make anyone a fan.
