Marvel Releases Trailer for Upcoming ‘Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings’ Series
There are few characters who have risen to prominence in the past years within the Marvel Universe than the hero who is now the central focus of a brand new series, as Marvel has released a trailer for the upcoming Shang-Chi and the Ten Rings series.
If there was ever a character that so perfectly encapsulated the power of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and its ability to inform how fans respond to characters in the comic book universe, it is Shang-Chi.

A relatively unknown hero, Shang-Chi was a master of Kung-fu that was often overlooked by more popular heroes in the Marvel Universe; a reality that completely shifted after his arrival in the lauded MCU.
Being brought to life by the incredibly charismatic Simu Liu, Shang-Chi is basically a household name, firmly standing as a vital piece of the MCU moving hero, with a budding superstar in the aforementioned Simu.

Marvel comics has now taken that popularity and is manifesting it into a brand new run centered on the iconic hero, as Marvel has released a trailer for the upcoming Shang-CHi and the Ten Rings series set to arrive this July.
Marvel.com reports that “Eisner Award-winning writer Gene Luen Yang’s redefining adventures of Marvel’s premier martial artist continue next month in Shang-Chit and the Ten RIngs #1.”

The report continued, stating, “Joined by acclaimed artist Marcus To, Shang-Chit and the Ten Rings #1 will kick off a new saga for the hero now that he’s inherited the powerful and mysterious Ten Rings.”
The debut trailer showed off a lot of what fans can expect from Yang and To, as the series looks to contain as much martial arts action as fans can take.

It is also very cool that the functionality of the Ten Rings has seemingly shifted from the comics traditionally utilizing them as actual rings, to now the forearm-size rings that were used in the films.
We cannot wait to see what this immensely talented creative duo has in store for this title that should be a spectacular visual adventure.
