There are so many things that occur throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe that peak our interest, that builds in us a desire to see them explored- whether on the big screen or in their very own Disney+ series- which let us to the conclusion that Secret Invasion well tell Marvels greatest untold story.
Taking a step back in time to the days of the Avengers, everyone will have a character that they adored more than any other.

Some fans love Captain America, Some love Iron Man, and some are obsessed with Thor, Black Widow, or Hulk; but everyone has a Marvel hero that they believe is their favorite of the entire Avengers lineup.
But perhaps no character in the history of that collective is as overlooked, misunderstood, or misrepresented, like one Nick Fury.

He was the character responsible for first bringing together all of these heroes; without Fury, there would be no Avengers Initiative, and there would be no Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
A character that has been enigmatic, mysterious, but constantly present- and constantly committed to his goal of protecting the planet by any means necessary.

All of the mystery, and lack of exploration, into who Nick Fury is leads us to the conclusion that Secret Invasion will tell Marvel’s greatest untold story; the story of Nick Fury.
He was partially explored in the first Captain Marvel film, with fans getting a deeper look at Fury in his younger days before all of the Avengers stuff had happened, but according to Samuel L. Jackson himself, Secret Invasion will bring fans close than ever before to the man himself.

Speaking at an Actor’s Roundtable for The Hollywood Reporter (as reported by ComicBook.com) Jackson stated, “Well I can have a whole life as Nick Fury that’s not Nick Fury at work.”
Jackson continued, “You get to go home with me and see what happens with me at home or when I’m alone or when I’m not so strong or when I take off a back brace because Nick Fury’s old.”

He concluded, “Things that you can do that you can’t normally do because the character has to present this kind of front when thas happening and that’s what the movies are for and when you get to do it in log form you get to show ever superheroes have their down moments.”
Seeing Nick Fury behind the facade that he presents to the Avengers and others is one of the most intriguing aspects of the entire Phase Four, and reinforces the fact that Secret Invasion will tell Marvel’s greatest untold story.
