Celestials Spotted in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Trailer
The highly-anticipated fourth solo film for the iconic Marvel hero is almost here; with the film arriving in just a few weeks, and the final trailer recently releasing, fans have made quite the discovery, as Celestials were spotted in the most recent Thor: Love and Thunder trailer.
It is a film that is among the most interesting and long-awaited of the Marvel Cinematic Universe lauded Phase Four slate, Thor: Love and Thunder remain a film that is a must-see for MCU and Thor fans.
There is no shortage of reasons to be excited about the upcoming film; with Jane Foster’s arrival as The Mighty Thor, Christian Bale’s menacing Gorr the God Butcher arriving, and the return of iconic Thor: Ragnarok heroes like Korg and Valkyrie.
Yet, the reasons continue to build as the promotional campaign for the film has continued to unravel what should be an exciting and very interesting addition to Marvel Phase Four lore, as Celestials are spotted in the most recent Thor: Love and Thunder trailer.
It is an interesting development and one that certainly asks questions about Marvel’s cosmic realm, as what appears to be two celestials as Thor and company traveling on the Bifrost from what appears to be Mount Olympus.
What seems to be an interesting inclusion and one that speaks to the meeting place between both Marvel lore and Norse mythology, that solidifies that this meeting place of the gods would also be the meeting place of these galactic beings.
With first reactions to the film coming through and promising a heartfelt, humorous, and emotionally resonating film that will create a massive adventure that sees Thor confront the deteriorating status of Gods among various races in the universe.
Entering the Celestials is a fascinating wrinkle, and it should be something that plays a small role in the upcoming film; perhaps being one of the many cameos that could take place in the film.
