Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness remained among the most anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe releases of Marvel’s vast history and was easily among the most exciting entries into the universe that its lauded Phase Four had to offer.
Following the incredible and record b breaking success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, and the indelible impact of Disney+ projects like WandaVision and Loki, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of MAdness was slated to be the bookend of the multiversal narrative that these projects had introduced.
The film saw the return of Sam Raimi to the world of comic book adaptations that he had been the grandfather of and saw him bring the MCU its first true horror film, in a Marvel adventure that is quite unlike anything that the franchise has ever given to fans.
The big draw of the movie is the multiversal aspects of its narrative, and the characters that the film would introduce MCU fans to from across the boundless ends of the multiverse; with one of those characters returning as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of MAdness released a deleted scene.
In a Tweet celebrating the arrival of the film on the Disney executive streaming platform Disney+, Marvel has released a deleted scene to the adored sequel film that featured none other than Bruce Campbell’s Pizza Poppa.

A character that showed up during Doctor Strange and America Chavez’s multiversal travels, Bruce Campbell’s cameo was as the Pizza Poppa; a food cart owner who didn’t have the best run-in with Marvel resident sorcerer.
The deleted scene was easily a play on the post-credit sequence that featured Campbell’s Pizza Poppa alerting fans that the film was, in fact, over; one that was a hilarious play on the post-credit trend that thas dominated MCU films.
The deleted scene does also hint that this could be just the start of the Pizza Poppa in the MCU.
