‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Gets Disney+ Release Date
It was easily among the most anticipated projects of the MCU’s Phase Four, and despite its inconsistent reception, there is little denying that it was a very entertaining ride, and one that has just announced its digital availability, as Thor; Love and Thunder gets a Disney+ release date.
Few characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s history can boast the transformation and growth of Chris Hemsworth’s MCU mainstay, Thor; a hero who has evolved as much as any Marvel hero in his lack decade’s worth of appearances in the film franchise

A hero that began as an old-English speaking man out of time and space, evolved into one of the funniest characters that the MCU has ever seen, and one of the most inconsistent film receptions of any character that Marvel has built a film franchise around.
The original Thor film was not bad, but it also wasn’t particularly great, simply being a good movie that introduces the character; while its follow-up, Thor: The Dark World is still spoken about as one of the worst Marvel entries of all time.

The hero’s third film was the most revolutionary for him, Thor: Ragnarok, as it redefined and reimagined just who Thor Odinson was while leaning into Hemsworth’s most natural charisma, magnetism, and comedic timing, and guiding the character through a transformation that would set the basis for him in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.
That all culminated in the record-setting fourth solo film for the character, Thor: Love and Thunder, a film that – retrospectively- may not have hit on all the cylinders that made Thor: Ragnarok a smashing success, but was still a solid entry into the characters Marvel saga.

Now, we know just when subscribers to the Disney-exclusive streaming service can once again see this conflictingly reviewed project, as Thor: Love and Thunder officially has a Disney+ Release Date.
Announced today, the fourth Thor solo film will be arriving on Disney+ this September 8th, which is none other than Disney+ Day; which feels like a really awesome way to celebrate the hero, the streaming platform, and the Marvel film.
