Marvel Announces Brand New Monica Rambeau Series
She is one of the Marvel Universe’s most enigmatic characters to fans who aren’t akin to the vast comic book history but is set to be thoroughly explored as the hero known as Photo, as Marvel has announced a brand new Monica Rambeau series.
There is no shortage of cosmic characters with immense powers riddled throughout the vast history of the Marvel Universe; from Captain Marvel to Silver Surfer, to Adam Warlock, to Blue Marvel, these are characters that have traveled the cosmos protecting the galaxy from its biggest potential threats.

Yet, of all of these heroes, one of the most underrated is undeniably Photo, a character that has already made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe- kind of- and is set to be a character that Marvel comics focus on heavily in the very near future.
That is all the more evident as Marvel has announced a brand new Monica Rambeau series that delves into her time as the cosmic hero in a brand new way; reimagining the hero for a brand new Photon series that we are tremendously excited about.

What is clear about the hero known as Photon is her tremendous power, and that same power threatens to wreak havoc on the Marvel Universe in a press release announcing the brand new run from the creative team of Eve L. Ewing and Michael Sta. Maria.
A press release stated, “This December, universal powerhouse Monica Rambeau will star in first-ever solo comic series! a five-issue limited series, MONICA RAMBUEA: PHOTON, will be written by award-winning author and schola Eve L. Ewing and drawn by new Marvel talent, artist Michael Sta. Maria.”

The release goes on to state that this newly announced solo run is following, “Four decades’ worth of amazing stories” and signifies a brand new age for the character that has long had a presence in the Marvel Universe.
