Marvel Announces ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ DVD and Blu-Ray Release Date
There were few films in the MCU’s Phase Four slate that carried with it the anticipation of the record-setting Thor entry, and with its Disney+ arrival date already confirmed, Marvel has now announced the Thor: Love and Thunder DVD and Blu-Ray release dates.
Few characters in the massive pantheon of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have connected with fans to the degree that Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder has; carving out the most unique journey that the massive film universe has ever seen, and likely will ever see.

Getting his start in a film that was inconsistent in its reception- but mostly well-liked enough- Thor spent his first solo installment, and much of the first Avengers film, as an old-English speaking deity that lacked a lot of the depth and narrative exploration that was afforded his co-stars.
That only got worse with the follow-up, Thor: The Dark World, which is to this day perceived as one of the worst MCU films ever release; but marked the moment that Marvel knew a change was needed and began setting in motion a plan to revitalize the hero.

That’s where Taika Waititi comes in, one of the industry’s smartest and most creative filmmakers, Waititi brought something brand new out of the character, and his two films- Thor: Ragnarok, and Thor: Love and Thunder- have completely transformed how we perceive the hero.
Despite its inconsistent reception from critics and audience members, Thor: Love and Thunder is undeniably entertaining, and with its Disney+ release date already in the books, Marvel has now announced the Thor: Love and Thunder DVD and Blu-Ray Release dates.

Although the film will be available on Disney+ on September 8th, it won’t be available to own on DVD or Blu-Ray until the 27th of that month; but it may be well worth the wait considering the bonus features, and massive sets that are available for its purchase in this format.
