Disney+ Day Teases Potential X-Men Connection
For fans of the Disney-exclusive streaming platform, we know that the days are passing until we arrive at the September event that has become a massive tradition for the company, as Disney+ Day is around the corner, the event may have teased an X-Men connection.
Marvel Studios set out more than a decade ago to create what has since become one of the most ambitious endeavors in the history of cinema, an interconnected film franchise that brought together some of the biggest names in the massive pantheon of Marvel heroes.
That has continued to this day- with it being as big now as it has ever been- but one aspect that has aided its evolution and growth from that moment has been the renewed approach that has made Marvel’s streaming presence astronomically grow in recent years.
Now, fans don’t just have to wait for every theatrical release, nor does every new character have to be adorned with their own trilogy in order to establish their presence in the universe, and nor do beloved characters have to suffer from the strict screen times requirements of the theatrical format.
For the first time, Marvel characters who don’t necessarily warrant their own films are able to be explored in this new long-form storytelling format that has led to some of the greatest narratives that Marvel has ever woven in their history, with some of their most compelling characters.
WandaVision, Loki, Hawkeye, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and now She/Hulk have all been examples of tremendously successful endeavors between Marvel and the Disney streaming platform, and it is why the two have become too intertwined.
That is why some fans have speculated about a recent Tweet posted by Disney+, that saw Disney+ Day tease a potential X-Men connection.
SNIKT. 6️⃣ days until #DisneyPlusDay! #XMen https://t.co/t2Lj4RAdiR pic.twitter.com/ciSO4j8Bdw

The connection in question is a countdown to Disney+ that has been present on the platform, with the 6th day Tweet showing none other than Logan and his claws- six in total- that had many fans wondering if something Mutant or X-Men related is being planned for the massive day.
We can only speculate as well, but we tend to believe that this is just a nice homage to Marvel’s instrumental place in Disney+ history, and how these characters have been so important to the streaming platform, and not that there is some kind of Marvel announcement looming.
