Marvel’s Upcoming ‘Dark Web’ Story Forces an Unlikely Duo
There is no denying how important Spider-Man is to the overall Marvel Universe, but there is also no denying how wide his sphere of influence remains, as two of his greatest allies may have to become allies of their own, as Marvel’s upcoming Dark Web story has forced an unlikely duo.
For well over six decades, Peter Parker has not just been the greatest creation in the history of the comic book medium, but he has firmly become entrenched as one of the most beloved fictional heroes in modern storytelling history.
This is a character that has been adored by generations after generations, since Stan Lee and Steve Ditko first crafted the character to the page, and brought to life a web-slinging superhero that was as simple in his humanity as me or you, and as understandable as our very own issues.
But it wasn’t just that character that made both Marvel and the Spider-Man universe so important to Marvel and the fans of his stories, it was how Peter interacted with the characters and circumstances that occurred around him that continued the elevation of his status among fans.
Countless characters that had gone against, worked with or just been important to the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man were such fantastic creations that they didn’t need to just live in the bubble that was the wall-crawler, and this news is yet more proof of that fact
With the upcoming Dark Web story just on the horizon, there is an unlikely duo forming, as two of the women closest to Peter- but with very different contexts- Mary Jane Watson and The Black Cat, must team up for the brand new Marvel adventure.
Face it, 🐯s, you just hit the double jackpot!
