Disney+ Debuts ‘ASSEMBLED: The Making of Thor: Love and Thunder’
One of the coolest Marvel traditions has returned on this special day, as Disney+ has debuted the brand new ASSEMBLED: The Making of Thor: Love and Thunder.
There were few Marvel projects that had the anticipation that existed for what was a record-setting fourth solo MCU film.

Thor: Love and Thunder had long been marked on the calendar for Marvel fans, and presented a unique step for the characters Marvel saga.
Not only did it see the return of Thor: Ragnarok architect Taika Waititi, but it saw a Chris Hemsworth who has been as good as ever in his recent MCU roles.

That, coupled with the return of Natalie Portman and the debut of Christian Bale presented a Marvel experience like no other.
When the film ultimately did arrive in theaters, it did underperform what many had expected out of the Marvel epic.

An overreliance on the comedic sides of the character limited what should have been one of the most emotionally resonant works Marvel had to offer.
For the brilliance of Gorr the God Butcher and Jane Foster’s storyline, the film still felt committed to a comedic tone.

And with that commitment came the feeling that the film just didn’t know what it truly wanted to be; caught between an epic action drama and a pure superhero comedy.
Still, the film was a great step for the character’s MCU journey, and fans can now take a peak behind the curtain, and observe its development.

The release is in accordance with the arrival of the official film on Disney+, to celebrate what has been the annual Disney+ Day festivities.
