Marvel Announces ‘World of Heroes’ From ‘Pokemon Go’ Developers at D23
The video games showcase at the biggest Disney event of the year brought the unveiling of a brand new game, as Marvel announced World of Heroes from the Pokemon Go developers at D23.
It is easily the biggest time of the year for so many companies under the Disney umbrella, and Marvel is no different, as the D23 convention provides fans with an unprecedented look into what will be released in the coming year.
As always, Marvel didn’t hold back and gave fans a plethora of updates on what the next few calendar years could see for fans of the massive studio.
Whether it be the expansion of Disneylands Avengers Campus at California Adventure, or the various trailers and reveals that came from the MCU’s streaming and film productions, fans had so much to mull over by the time Sunday’s panel finished.
One of the most exciting announcement panels that fans were anxiously awaiting was the Disney and Marvel games showcased that showed off some of the video game developments that were to come.
Among those announcements were updated on games like the highly anticipated Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and Skydance Media’s upcoming collaboration with Marvel video games.
One reveal, however, could be more interesting than the rest, as Marvel has announced World of Heroes from the Pokemon Go developers Niantic, at D23.
The announcement came with a trailer for the project but had very little to share about what the project will be upon its release, with only some clues to speculate upon.

We can assume that the project will be a mobile application based on the trailer- which showed various people using their phones- and that it will function similarly to the hit Pokemon application.
There are no details revealed about the project, but it remains one of the most interesting, as the concept could lend itself to a very unique Marvel experience for fans.
