Marvel Debuts First Trailer for ‘Secret Invasion’
Undeniably one of the most anticipated, and enigmatic, projects for Marvel’s Phase Five slate, they have finally debuted the first trailer for the upcoming Secret Invasion.
It had been a date marked on the calendar for months, as Marvel fans awaited just what news and announcements could come from Disney’s D23 convention.

Following the plethora of unveilings that came out of Marvel’s appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, there was some apprehension that there wouldn’t be as much revealed at the Disney-centered event.
Although there certainly wasn’t the massive restructuring of Phase Four and Five slate- as well as the peak into Phase Six- there was plenty to justify this being such an exciting event for fans.

One of the biggest reveals of the night came in the form of the very first trailer for the upcoming Secret Invasion series set to debut on Disney+.
There were few projects that could boast both the excitement and mystery of the Secret Invasion title, with only rumors being floated around as to what could be present in the series.

Although there is still plenty of mystery surrounding the story that we’ll get, we have much more information on what will arise when the project hits the Disney-exclusive streaming service.
The trailer that showed to D23 attendees, and later arrived across various social media platforms, showcased what appears to be Nick Fury’s return to Earth after time spent in a space base orbiting the planet.

What we know from the trailer is that Fury’s return is due to a possible impending invasion from the Skrull face; an alien species that has been present in the MCU since the events of Captain Marvel.
We got our first look at returning Marvel characters- such as Fury, Ben Kingsley’s Talos, and agent Maria Hill- while also seeing some of the impending MCU debuts in Emilia Clarke, Olivia Coleman, and Kingsley Ben-Adir.

The trailer certainly got us excited for the series that is adapting one of Marvel comics’ greatest runs.
