‘Werewolf By Night’ Runtime Potentially Revealed
It may well be the most exciting footage shown at D23, and with its arrival just a month away, the Werewolf by Night runtime has officially been revealed.
The calendar was marked, as fans long-awaited the D23 weekend-long convention that brings together the biggest brands under the Disney umbrella, to unveil to attendees just what is in store for the coming year.
There was so much revealed from Marvel, and with trailers, posters, and interviewers all speaking to just what fans can expect from various Marvel titles set to be a part of Phase five and beyond.
Of everything shown, however, nothing was more intriguing than the footage of the upcoming Halloween special, Werewolf by Night.
The project is directed by legendary composer Michael Giacchino, and seemed to bring to life Marvel’s resident Werewolf in a brilliant way; paying homage to the iconic horror movies of the 1930s and 1940s to set a spooky tone that is a fascinating method to tell this story.
There where still a lot of questions regarding these characters and this project, however, with one particularly surrounding what fans can expect out of what Marvel Studios defines not as a series or a film, but as a Disney+ special.
We have some more insight into that, as the Werewolf by Night runtime has officially been revealed, and has given us some more information as to what a Disney+ special could entail.
Although a lot of this is speculation, it has been reported by The Direct that insiders have noted the Halloween project will boast a runtime of 52 minutes and 37 seconds.
This is markedly longer than a single episode of a Disney+ series, but shorter than an MCU film, and would also be much longer than the rumored runtime of the other MCU Disney+ special, The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special.
