Hugh Jackman Returning as Wolverine in ‘Deadpool 3’
It was one of the biggest announcements that MCU fans have had since D23, and it certainly came out of the left field, as Hugh Jackman has announced he will return as Wolverine in Deadpool 3.
There are two massive news days that are circled on the calendar for nearly every Marvel fan, as they have historically been home to some of the biggest reveals.

Those two days came and went, and brought with them some tremendous news regarding the concluding Phase Four, the arriving Phase Five, and the in-development Phase Six.
Projects like Fantastic Four, and two Avengers films set to bookend the sixth phase of the MCU, as well as updates on projects like Werewolf by Night and Thunderbolts were all that fans could talk about.

But there was one project that had not been discussed that had worried a lot of fans involved, and that project was the MCU debut of Wade Wilson.
Deadpool has long been one of the most popular characters in the live-action adaption world of Marvel comics thanks to the work that Ryan Reynolds and company did in his first two installments.

Although those were excellent, fans had eagerly awaited when the character would arrive in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the third film in his saga; and we now have an answer to that.
More so than just an answer, however, we now know that none other than Hugh Jackman will return as Wolverine in the upcoming Deadpool 3; slated for a September release.

Jackman is one of the most recognized and adored characters that the comic book genre of films has ever known, playing Wolverine for well over a decade, and with Logan seeing his character’s story end, many didn’t believe we would ever see him in the MCU.
But that appearance has already been confirmed, as he is set to pick the claws back up once again, and bring the character to life once more in the most successful comic book movie franchise of all time, the MCU.
