‘Daredevil’ Star Hopes to Return for New Disney+ Series
With the announcement that Matt Murdock will return in Daredevil: Born Again, former Daredevil star Deborah Ann Woll, reiterates her hope that she will return for the new Disney+ series.
Of all of the projects that have been developed over the years, there is no overstating the lasting impact and brilliance of Marvel and Netflix’s collaborated Daredevil series.
It was a project that thoroughly explored one of the greatest characters in the history of Marvel comics in a way that felt absolutely truthful to the hero’s original intentions, and was still quite unlike anything that had been done in the Marvel space to that point.
With the cancellation of that series, plenty of fans feared for the future of Matt Murdock in the MCU, with the hero shrouded in uncertainty as to what will come of his story; that all changed, however, with the announcement of the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again.
The project has already confirmed to bring back Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Vincent D’Onfrio’s Wilson Fisk- both characters that arrived in Phase Four, but one more former DAredevil star has spoken about her hope to return to the new Disney+ series.
Speaking to ComicBook.com, Deborah Ann Wool, who plays Karen Page, stated, “So, I mean, it means so much to me. I love that character o much, and I do miss it. I really felt like we were unfinished.”
Wool continued, “We had so much more story to tell. So yeah, it’s really gratifying to see how much people love her and want to see more from her. I hope I get to. I’m here. They know my number. I’m available, as far as I know. But it’s up to them.”
Wool concluded, “I know they’re going to tell the best story that they know how to tell. And if that includes Karen PAge, that will be so exciting. But if it doesn’t, I will be a happy viewer.”‘
Deborah Ann Wool remains one of the best parts of that initial Daredevil series, and we can only hope that Marvel is interested in seeing her return in the series.
