The MCU’s Blade Should Debut in ‘Werewolf by Night’
He is among the most anticipated arrivals of Phase Five, and with the supernatural realm of the Marvel Universe set to be explored in the upcoming Halloween special, we conclude that the MCU’s Blade should make his debut in the upcoming Werewolf by Night.
There is no denying that within the massive pantheon of Marvel comics, few characters of supernatural origin are as popular, interesting, or continually relevant as the Daywalker himself.
Blade has always had a unique connection with the fanbase, and has continually been a vital piece to the underworld of Marvel comics, emerging time and time again as the world’s greatest defense against those dark forces that go bump in the night.
That fact has always engaged fans, and his very unique design and narrative structure have always spoken to a character that has everything necessary to be among the best heroes in the Marvel arsenal.
Those qualities are also what has driven the adaptation of the hero to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Academy Award Winning actor Mahershala Ali set to bring the hero to life for a brand new generation.
That announcement, however, was made way back in 2019, and with us two years later we still haven’t seen the daywalker in the MCU; but that should change, as the MCU’s Blade should officially debut in the upcoming Disney+ Special Werewolf by Night.
The MCU Halloween project is set to delve deep into the spookiest corners of the Marvel Universe, and bring characters like Jack Russell and Man-Thing into the MCU, and there is no better setting for the arrival of Blade than that.
The hero doesn’t necessarily have to be a starring role in the project, but his presence would do wonders for giving fans a look at what’s to come from the character and the performance, as well as ensuring that where this newly developing supernatural realm goes, Blade will be present.
